It depends on the course, group size and location. You receive a free, all-inclusive quote within 24 hours, with no hidden costs.

How long does a workplace first-aider course take?
The workplace first-aider course takes 15 to 21 hours, depending on the programme agreed with you. It is followed by an annual 4-hour refresher.
Is the first-aid refresher 4 hours?
Yes. The annual refresher for workplace first-aiders takes 4 hours. It revisits the key techniques and lets participants practise them again in realistic situations.
How can we prepare our team to use an AED?
Our CPR & AED workshop takes 2 or 4 hours. Your staff practise cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator on training manikins.
Can a first-aid workshop be tailored to our company?
Yes. With the tailored first-aid workshop you choose the themes and the duration to match your activity and risks.
Obligations and attestations
Is first-aid training mandatory for companies in Belgium?
Yes. The Belgian Code on well-being at work requires employers to organise first aid and, depending on the company, to have trained first-aiders. Your prevention adviser can specify your obligations.
How many employees should be trained as first-aiders?
It depends on your company size, sector and risk analysis. Your prevention adviser sets the number; we then train the designated employees.

Do participants receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes, every participant receives an certificate of attendance. Delta Solution is on the official list of first-aid training organisers of the FPS Employment.
How long does workplace first-aider training remain valid?
A workplace first-aider keeps their training up to date by taking an annual 4-hour refresher.

What if an annual refresher was missed?
Contact us as soon as possible: the person can attend a second session or retake a test.

Is there an assessment at the end of the course?
Yes. All courses that lead to an attestation end with an assessment.
In which language is the attestation issued?
The attestation is issued in the language of the course (English, Dutch or French) or, on request, in another language.
Location, groups and instructors
Where do the courses take place?
All courses take place at your site. Only paediatric first aid can also be held at home or at our premises in Willebroek.
Do you travel throughout Belgium?
Yes. We are based in Willebroek and come to clients anywhere in Belgium.
How many participants per group?
A group has a maximum of 12 participants. 13 to 15 is possible, with a possible supplement; above 15 we organise several groups.
In which languages are the courses given?
Our courses are given in English, Dutch and French.
Who are the instructors?
Our instructors come from the fire service, Defence and police, with hands-on experience of emergencies.
